Take it Photography are national theatre and dance school photographers. We cover everything from a small presentation to a full theatre production. As specialists, we understand how important it is to ensure that our attendance at your performance does not impact on rehearsal time. We work very much in the background but without compromising on the quality of the photography that we provide.
We attend your production free of charge. In addition to this, we also let you have all the images that we have taken Head Shots and stage, for marketing and promotion of your school.
So how do we do it? We set up a studio to take professional headshots or full costume profile shots either at the dress rehearsal or at your school prior to show day. We also photograph the dress rehearsal without disturbance to the running of the main production which also enables us to capture close-up action shots. The studio pictures are printed and mounted for sale at the show. The dress rehearsal images are available after the show on-line.
The photographs start from as little as £12.00 for a mounted 6" x 8" print with discounts at the show for multiple purchases and payment can be either cash or credit/debit card. Further to this, we also provide a secure online shop for those who would like to see the images after the event. Our online shop is password-protected and easy to navigate.
To ensure that we comply with current legislation all our staff have an up-to-date DBS check and can be clearly identified by their staff uniform.

Using 3 HD cameras, we film and edit your show as a professional multi-camera production. Take it Photography understands that the dances and formations need to be shown and we do that through a mixture of camera positions and angles. Dance Show Filming in our minds needs to be exciting for the viewers when they watch but also show them the full routine as if they were in the theatre watching. Our mix of camera angles means we capture everything! Then in the edit, we use our knowledge of routines and formations to make sure we show the best parts of every dance…especially those smiles! We offer a full HD streaming service through Mediazilla. This is a high-quality streaming platform designed to be easy to use flexible and secure. We also offer DVDs for those that still want them.
